No matter if you are a teen, young adult, or a seasoned corporate worker looking for a change in your working lifestyle, getting into a new business is hard. However, that hard work does pay off for most who have the right support system in place.

Before jumping into a business, you need to know what works and does not work. There are people out there that have done the legwork and have failed. They are willing to talk about their successes and failures if you are willing to heed their advice. Of all the entrepreneur forums that exist out there, I do advise checking out these three forums for young entrepreneurs.

  1. Reddit Entrepreneur

I consider Reddit to be like an underground thread. They have rules that must be followed, unlike other forums you may find. It’s a cut-throat environment in the Reddit world because they are so honest with each other. There is no room for sugar coating there.

There is hundreds of advice and opportunities in a given forum. The topics are highly organized, so it’s not a problem finding exactly what you are looking for. You’ll find first-hand knowledge and experience in this thread. You can ask questions or just search for answers, either way you’re guaranteed to find someone who’s been there and done that.

  1. Young Professionals Meetup Groups

Meetup.Com is a valuable network with a diverse range of groups – professional and non-professional. Many of these groups meet up in person for fun and informative events. You can find a Young Professionals Meetup group right in your city whom all share a common interest. Some of the events may be:

  • Meet and greet
  • CEO breakfasts
  • Computer software training
  • Networking with other industries
  • How-to seminars
  • Business finance seminars
  • Tax seminars
  • Mentorship opportunities
  1. Retire at 21

With over 3,700 members actively posting on over 100 threads, what’s not to like about Retire at 21? This forum is for the young and old – all like-minded individuals looking to achieve success. Stories are shared as well as well-composed answers to your mind boggling questions. So no matter if you’re looking to get started or make a change to your current online business, this is a forum to dive into.

You owe it to yourself and your future to get involved in some of these forums. They are easy to join with little to no cost. And, since you can keep up with the information online, there is no excuse not to join and learn.
